Our next door neighbor hired Steve to build a deck and redo some siding for her. Over the course of a week we were able to watch Steve and his crew work on this project. When it came time to rebuild our deck, the choice was easy. With only a few rough sketches, we talked about what we had in mind. Steve set to work getting the materials and worked us into a schedule that was in sync with other prep work. Adapting to changes and alterations as we went along, Steve created a wonderful new outdoor area for us. With precision and obvious skill, he built proper supports, laid a new Trex deck, and constructed two patio overhangs. It all was done in a timely fashion, as Steve and his crew worked all day long to get the job done. They respected the surrounding property, and stowed their tools each night. They carted all the "leftovers" out to be disposed of properly, and cleaned up as part of the project. We now have a deck that will likely last for many years, with the satisfaction of knowing it was built well by a professional craftsman. Thank you, Steve, for a job well done!

Dexperts worked with us through the entire new deck process: concepts, drawings, permits, construction and lighting. They were outstanding in every area, including finishing on time, doing excellent work and leaving everything clean when they were finished. We could not be happier with both our experience and the beautiful, high quality, deck we now enjoy. On top of all that, their price was quite reasonable, as well. This was especially true given the "above and beyond" final results.
We would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality deck.

In october 2006, Steve gave me an estimate for the removal of my old deck, replacing it with Trex Composite Material. This was a big job.
Steve was wonderful to work with. He kept his schedule letting me know exactly what was going on at all times. I would highly recommend Steve. He is very proud of his work, and he should be. My deck is beautiful.

I would recommend Steve to anyone who wants a professional job done. I had occasion to watch Steve replace a friends deck and was very impressed. I contracted him to replace and enlarge our deck that was in need of repair. I found him to be extremely competent and exacting in his work. Mrs. Davis and I are very pleased with the job he did.

Steve Rodhouse has done several construction jobs for us and we have been very pleased. The largest of these projects was designing and building a beautiful deck on the back of our house. He took care of obtaining city permits, ordering materials, and with a helper, installed everything. Everything was left very clean after they finished. We love it.
In addition, Steve installed a sliding glass door to the deck and also installed a garden window in the kitchen. No leaks!
All in all, we would use Steve again for another project and highly recommend him.

In January, 2006 we contracted with Steve for a rebuild of our old deck with one of Trex construction that would withstand the prevailing wind and rain on our hillside property. The old deck had been in place for many years and had several serious problems, some plainly visible and some which were apparent only when it was disassembled. Steve's estimate was extremely accurate, considering all of these factors.
The crew set to work almost immediately. The teardown was quick, clean and efficient. A trailer was parked in front of the house, where scrap could be hauled to the dump when it was filled. After the first week the rebuilding began. Materials had previously been ordered and had been stored on the side of the house where the construction could continue uninterrupted. This being the rainy season, there were days when the crew could not work. Steve kept a constant check on the forecast and was in touch with us on the crew's status for the coming three or four days. We have known of several contractors who start several jobs and miss completion deadlines. This was not the case here. If the crew had to be pulled off for weather reasons to do an inside job, they returned promptly when the conditions permitted.
I should also mention that, as we employed Steve to deal with the Planning Department on permits and blueprints, he followed through on the required details with great thoroughness. The few delays we experienced were due to the arrival of city inspectors and not the crew.
All during the construction process Steve and his crew arrived promptly at 8:00 and worked a full day. Despite the weather, our estimated completion was met. Again, this is not true of all contractors. We were impressed by the work ethic and eye to quality of the several people involved.
Since the completion of the project we have been completely happy with our rebuilt deck and have received many compliments. Occasionally, someone with a similar project in mind visits to observe the results. We do not hesitate to recommend Steve and his crew highly, and consider our project a total success. Top

Steve Rodhouse is a licensed and qualified contractor that has performed several projects for us. He built a 1500 square foot deck around the second story of our home and performed in a truly professional manner, both on time and on budget. He is a hands-on working carpenter with a fully qualified journeyman crew. He has been a pleasure to work with from initial design through completed project. He, further, has overseen the scheduling and supervision of subcontractors and enjoys an excellent reputation with suppliers. At all times he has kept us fully informed should there have been any changes or deletions in the scope of our varied projects. The construction site has been clean and tidy during the scope of the work and fully cleaned upon completion. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any construction work even beyond his specialty. In fact, I would and will employ him for future work.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve Rodhouse for the replacement of our deck. This was quite a challenging undertaking, as our home in Carmel is high off the ground and on a sloping hill. Steve handled the job with the utmost in skill and professionalism. He kept my family abreast of the project - including design, permits, on site inspections - every step of the way (in person, on the phone and by e-mail). He was able to salvage our existing staircase, which was a savings, financially, for us. We are so happy with our new, beautiful Trex deck, that we also had Steve re-stain the exterior of our house. I would not hesitate to use Steve again nor in recommending him to others!

My wife and I were searching for a contractor to build us a large deck around three sides of our home. We interviewed several people but wisely decided upon Steve Rodhouse of Dexperts. Steve made his estimate promptly and insisted that there would be no hidden or unexpected costs. He also emphasized when he could start the project and when he would finish.
Steve and his crew were always punctual, on task and knowledgeable which is what I expect from a professional. Steve started early each day and finished by cleaning the construction area prior to leaving. He had a cheerful attitude and kept us abreast of the developments from the building permits, delivery schedules and unforeseen delays. Throughout, his communication was excellent.
We have a beautiful 1,155 sq ft deck comprised of Trex composite decking. Steve and his crew removed all existing deck structures and installed new pressure treated sub-framing. He installed new Trex surface boards, stairs and handrails. Even after completing the job, Steve repeatedly contacted us to make sure we were satisfied. This made quite an impression on us! We are absolutely pleased and without question, we recommend Steve Rodhouse and Dexperts to anyone wishing to enhance their home with quality decking and workmanship.

Our recent experience involving repairing and remodeling various portions of our residence by your Dexperts Co. has been most rewarding.
Steve Rodhouse's expertise has been obvious during the process of the upgrading of four decks utilizing, in many cases, maintenance-free materials such as composite decking-Trex, a wood/plastic mixture in lieu of Redwood or Cedar. However, the Trex resembles wood characteristics very favorably in its appearance; and little, or no care, is involved with this material (no staining or replacement over the "long haul").
In addition to this effort, his design and remodel of a bathroom in our residence is spectacular! It is a real "show place".
We appreciate, so much, Steve's cheery attitude and his concern for any inconveniences during the conduct of your work.
We look forward to his performing several jobs at our residence that are planned for the future.
Marge and I thank Steve for making our home an even more delightful place to live.
